The E Class Mercedes is easily a match
for any of its rivals for comfort it feels solid, and is
exceptionally safe. The four cylinder supercharged petrol
model the E200 offers adequate performance with its six
speed manual gearbox, while the E280 is more refined. Taking
up the middle ground is the E350, which is rapid and very
smooth, while the E500 is a high speed executive express;
these models come with the seven speed automatic gearbox.
Most of the important items, Classic models include electric
windows, cruise control, air conditioning, and front, side
and curtain airbags. Elegance models add lumbar support
for the front seats and rain-sensing windscreen wipers.
Avantgarde models also include bi-xenon headlamps. Sport
models include larger alloy wheels and sporty styling features.
